This is the first post of my weekly blog. Gotta start somewhere!

In case you haven’t checked out About the Artist, I specialize in art quilts that incorporate healing energy symbolism. I have advanced degree training in Intuition Development, am a Reiki Master and am learning more and more about Feng Shui. Foremost, of course, I am a Quilt Artist.

Lately, I have been putting pockets on the backs of my healing energy quilts for the recipient to put his/her intention, wish, prayer, small personal item. I have named this pocket the Secret Intention Pocket (trademark pending). Small quilts with the Secret Intention Pocket on the back will be coming soon, as will separate pouches to be used for the same purpose. This is a powerful way to make something innately intangible (your personal, perhaps secret wishes — what you’d love to come true – that are now just wishes, ideas…intangible)…become tangible. By writing this down AND tucking it inside the Secret Intention Pocket, taking a moment to reflect on your wish and give gratitude for all else you have, and then holding that pocket…or hanging the small quilt with the pocket on the back….you have given yourself a tangible reminder of your intention. Tangibility adds power through increased positive thought.
